Mixed techniques are for me a different pictorial approach, it mixes sculpture, the figurative or the abstract, you need at least two different materials which allows you to personalize a more in-depth language as much as possible.
We must try to take advantage of the advantages offered by the main material, an everyday object for example or a toy, by looking for its luminosity, understanding how the light reflects the material and what reaction will the acrylic or other added substance offer?
What will I superimpose to accentuate the reliefs or blur them, what improbable nuance will I be able to apply to obtain a pleasant result without its original nature being distorted?
Mixing for me is synonymous with pleasure, I mix everything with tenderness, with sometimes naive reflection, others very thoughtful and meticulous.
