Landscapes are realities external to those who observe them and a personal representation of the emotions received.
We will not all have the same sensitivity depending on the countries we cross, the same taste for walking depending on the expanses of land that nature will pass before our eyes and some will perhaps have difficulty adapting to a city with tall and imposing architecture or, on the contrary, a depopulated village, too silent and austere.
Whatever the technique of my creations, they are like an interior window open to an exterior which isolates me from environmental reality and where I feel good with a certain strange and captivating freedom. The landscape is not the main subject that I approach, it is a bit like the decor of the theater of my paintings, it will often be unstructured, an unrealistic nature, without depth, it will be in my eyes a symbolic transcription of the places that I like or find fantastic to admire.
A few meadows and their blades of grass, millions of floral colors, a few frightening forests or others would be welcoming as they are described to us in fairy tales, a few plants which peacefully populate our lands soiled by our footsteps, rocks almost balanced or firmly attached to the ground and majestic mountains can immerse my works, but also towns and villages.
