This practice has existed for several centuries, popularized by Picasso, Braque or even Matisse, it evolves with the passage of time and new products produced each year. This discipline is part of my artistic landscape, it is with enormous pleasure that I like to unearth a forgotten or dead object, “dead” in the sense that it no longer has any use in our time.
I observe, I imagine, I compile, I crumple, I tear, I cut, I paste, I merge, I assemble, I return to childhood by fixing these objects in an eternal way despite their ephemeral use so that they tell a story once again a lovely timeless story.
I love color, shapes, volumes, materials, especially everything that takes the mind to the wildest dreams. I want to make things that disturb the spectators a little or question them.
The artistic expression of collage offers me another way to express myself on different themes, rather than writing on a simple sheet of paper. This allows me to recycle different supports and objects that I couldn't throw away. It's an activity that doesn't cost very much and requires few materials other than a good glue.
