I like to play with the fine line of copying and editing, collage allows me to make original artistic creations by using existing printed documents, by tearing them or cutting them cleanly. This innovative technique allows an innumerable number of assemblages, from landscape to still life, from portrait to architecture, everything is possible.
Collage allows you to bring poetry by integrating photographs or images of real things into the creation. This is incidentally beneficial to the environment because it allows recycling, we can glue everything, from our rubbish to wood found in nature, to everyday objects, broken or broken down, organized in an abstract or figurative way.
I like to have fun dressing my support with small samples of advertising, celebrities or text, found in various prints, very old or modern, what interests me is to offer a contemporary, aesthetic dimension in simple themes and basic, simply popular art. Which brings volume to the work, by touch we can feel the carvings, the tears, the textures of the different materials, thus several senses are solicited, sight, touch and smell, and yes because all of that has a smell to those who know how to linger on a canvas.
