The precursors of the technique are none other than the two friends Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse, but having completed my studies in advertising creation it is logical that for me all the techniques of editing and assembly attract me, collage is an integral part of my art.
I started this technique in college at the age of 14, I diverted advertisements found in magazines, I modified the visual to give another meaning to the basic poster, with humor as opposed to the initial meaning or in calling out in disgust with shocking images when the product seemed to me to be a deception.
Collage allows me to construct a new image, I can then create atmospheres, chimeras, it allows me to make visible a reality that is not necessarily visible. Constructing a painting by recycling various papers allows me to bring an idea to life with the constraint of finding the right pieces so that they fit together well in the composition and embodies the subject well once finished.
