I am nostalgic for the animated series that I followed as a child and teenager. For a long time I have had fun reproducing fictional characters, particularly from the Dragon Ball manga. At that time I covered a wall in my bedroom with countless drawings.
What is good is that with these illustrations my work can go in several directions, the departure of the painting is simply the motif to be presented.
Specifically before talking about one character over another, I generally start from a desire, or a command from a person who wishes to decorate a wall with a character that their emotional memory idolizes.
They can be different, experience divergent adventures, they can be a choice of identification by a character trait, by his whole, by his desire to be like him. Some are superheroes, others lovers, others full of naivety, an infinite reserve of characters to express billions of emotions.
So whether it is in comics with superheroes, in comic strips or Disney films, in newspaper illustrations or books especially for children, whether it comes from a Japanese culture like manga, trend will be the one you choose.
