Artists often have their ass between two chairs, which is why I wanted to use this everyday furniture as an artistic support. More seriously, the chair is an everyday element present in every home, chairs cross the ages allowing men and women to be able to sit down through the centuries, certain monarchs ordered them with specific ornaments to simply display them to show their powers and wealth, works of art with the same titles as paintings which reflect scenes of life, hung on the walls of old royal buildings.
Usually we look more for the aspect of comfort with this object, although we can sometimes attach importance to its aesthetics to beautify our interior and like many everyday objects they are often represented, diverted in art.
They are fascinating, loaded with multiple meanings, they can be staged and offer a completely different meaning to their uses, they can be distorted, painted, etc.
After passing through my hands, the chair is no longer a simple object but it becomes a staged artistic creation, which will no longer be there simply to support the weight of a person, but to invest your interior with relevance and mischief and open an artistic field on an element which is usually insignificant and of no real importance.
