When I start with a sculpture I start with recycled materials, I ask myself the question of what these elements could become, the idea adopted, I assemble everything, it will probably be necessary to drill, glue, mold, hang everything on a metal structure or other skeleton to the artistic piece, and when I start I am always optimistic about the completion time and I very quickly realize that I have overestimated the working time a little. After long hours of weariness and irritation, I finished the object and despite the annoyance I am still satisfied with the result and the progress made.
The volume is more bulky so I produce few and it is more difficult to find exhibition places, having the right clientele who can beautify their exterior with this three-dimensional object is more tedious, the choice between a volume and a Thinner canvas, hung on a wall will always be the painting the best option for the buyer. However the sculptures offer more emotions, beyond its aesthetic aspect, we can touch it, we can understand its height, its width, differentiate the different materials that can compose it, it has a presence.
Under this section you will find my volumetric creations on the animal theme, always composed of materials recovered or found in nature, you will like it or not, but I would not accept that people say that this activity is simple and that my works are easy to make, because I spent hours on end, much more than one could imagine.
I'll let you appreciate it for yourself!
