The first subject of art, animals represent the long and distant relationship that unites it with man. I have always been interested in animal reproduction, in all my arts, whether through forms, pictorial naturalization, symbolism, by stylizing it or sometimes by imagining it as a chimera through hybridization.
I like to put the animal as the main subject in my paintings, playing with it with a realistic or comic setting or in more general scenes. This art requires a lot of patience and sensitivity, you have to observe the animal carefully to grasp the accuracy of the postures, the anatomical volumes and try to detect the character of the animal. I think it's easier to paint living things than still lifes, although some people excel at both.
Far from fabulous creation, I remain humble, I am not a master, I simply hope to transcribe the intimate bond that I can have with animals, that they become the mirror of my own emotions.
